PitBull Poker Review and Free $10 with No Deposit

January 6, 2008

I am sure many of you have already heard of this but for those who haven’t here it is…

Pitbull Poker has a new promotion in which they will give you $10 free just for signing up. You can claim this $10 by signing up here or by clicking the banner below.

PitBull Poker Review

Let me be the first to say that PitBull Poker is pulling out all of the stops to bring in players. The free $10 is enough to cause a flood of freebie hunters, but it is clear that only the good players will remain further down the road. On top of the free $10, Pit Bull Poker is also offering free roll tournaments every hour on the half. The best part about this is that there is no deposit required to play in the freerolls. If you sign up and win a free roll, you get paid!

Software

What software? PitBull Poker has a no download client that runs in your browser. It is a flash poker site, and PB claims to be the first of it’s kind. I find this to be an advantage over the other rooms because the poker room will work on any computer that has a web browser. So if you are a mac or linux user you are not left out.

Games Available

The games offered are the standard Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo and numerous tournaments and sit n gos. They have just added rebuy and addon tournaments to their offerings as well as the ability to take notes on players. According to their website they also have plans to have bounty tournaments, satellites, and a waiting list function in the near future.

Leagues

This is one area where I think PitBull Poker stands out in the crowd. Players can create their own leagues and participate in others. The league will be a series of tournaments where each player gets point based on their finishes in the tournaments. At the end of the season the winner is the player with the most points. There are cash prizes as well as other types of prizes being offered to the winners. If anyone is interested I will create a NichePoker.net private league and offer up some huge prizes at the end. Just post a comment on this post and I will get it started.

Deposits and Withdraws

PB Poker uses echecks for deposits and withdraws through Nexum Financial or Citadel. This money comes directly from your bank and through Nexum or Citadel when you deposit. This makes it a breeze to get started. When you are ready to cash out you can do a direct deposit right back to your bank the same way you made a deposit. Pretty simple huh?

Conclusion

PB Poker is definitely on the rise. With the free $10 and the freerolls every hour you can count on the play to be pretty loose. I personally like the site mainly because I don’t have to download some software that is going to set off 100 whistles and alarms from my spyware programs. The traffic on the site is decent since it is part of the cake poker network. Give them a try and post what you think about the site in the comments below!
