Play Poker for a Nintendo Wii - Win a Free Nintendo Wii
December 18, 2007
Note: The latest tournament update can be found here Well here we are again… the holidays are here! This is the time of year when people scramble around the malls and stores looking for that hot product of the season. Well this year the hottest gift around has to be a Nintendo Wii. People can’t find these things anywhere! I bought one a few months ago, and even then I had to drive over an hour away to a Wal-Mart that had one left.
Chances are you may be able to find one if you are in line the moment the shipment arrives or if you decide to wait until january… but who has time for that? I’ll tell you what I can do to help. I am offering my beloved Nintendo Wii as well as Tiger Woods 07′, Wii Sports, and two controllers (with nunchuks) up as a prize for NichePoker.net’s first ever freeroll tournament. That is right. I am going to give it away. Tis’ the season! All you have to do is play in a free online poker tournament… and WIN! The tournament will be held on December 22nd and I will overnight the Wii to the winner that same day.
Here is how it will work.
For those of you who aren’t regulars of this site, poker fanatics, or both… here are some brief instructions.
First you must download and sign up at Full Tilt Poker(click the link and follow the instructions, and NO I will not make any money by you signing up) If you already have an account you can use it. There is no need to sign up for a new account.
Note: There is no requirement to deposit any money. This is a free tournament. Yes, it is legal even if you are in the US! Even if it wasn’t, as hot as these Wii’s are I am sure you would still participate!
Now… Follow the instructions on creating an account once you have downloaded the Full Tilt software. Once you have created your Full Tilt poker account you are 99% of the way there.
In order to keep this tournament private and not have it bombarded with the dreaded “free rollers” it has been password protected. Free rollers are, by nature, lazy, and most likely not follow through with my instructions for obtaining the password. All lazy, free loading, half assed poker playing free rollers who wish to crash our party without any effort at all click here to obtain your password now!
How will you obtain this tournament’s password?
I obviously cannot post it on this page or it will be passed around on all of the poker forums within hours and the chances of you winning would be slim(think of playing vs. 100 people vs. playing vs 2,000). I have taken measures to ensure that only the most dedicated “wii hunters” will be playing in this tournament. I envision someone winning my Wii, and giving it to the soon to be happiest kid on Earth.
To get the password all you have to do is subscribe to my RSS feed. You can do so by clicking here. You can either subscribe using your favorite RSS reader (I like Google Reader) or you can choose to subscribe via email. The email subscription option can be found on the home page www.nichepoker.net. Once you are subscribed all you have to do is check the feed everyday until I post the password. The password will only be shown to those that have subscribed to the RSS feed. The tournament will be held on 12/22/07. I will make a post with the tournament details on the 22nd (containing the password, how to find it in the Full Tilt lobby, etc.) and the post will only show up in the RSS feed and/or email subscriptions.
Be sure to subscribe now so you can be sure to get the tournament id and password and not miss out on your chance to win a this holiday season’s hottest product.
